As shown below, the MONITOR device in the CODEC_TEST system configuration contains a single resource RES0, which displays the hexadecimal contents of messages received by an instance of the UDP_LISTEN type. The UDP channel to be monitored is selected by an instance of the CHOICE_TBL type, indexed by the name of the channel being monitored.

The screenshot above shows an example of the use of this device configuration to monitor the communication taking place between the SEND_BITS/RCV_BITS window pair.
